This week's tribute goes to my wonderful mom! Her birthday is March 8th so we got to celebrate this past weekend. Saturday night after all the craziness of Claire's party, we went out to Carrabba's for dinner with everyone except my sister. We had a great time and I posted some pics below of our evening!
But first of all, a little something about mom...
Gosh, I don't even know where to start... she is the most loyal and hard working woman I've ever met. She is always somewhere helping someone whether it be at her job at the hospital, at church through her ministries, picking things up for her kids, helping me around the house in the late hours of the evening or watching her precious granddaughters that she showers with love!
She is pretty much the definition of Super Woman. Not only did she raise us 4 kids while working full-time and going to school, she never had a pre-packaged meal on the table or used paper products. I didn't even know people used paper plates other than for picnics until I was much older! Most importantly, she took us to church every Sunday, rain or shine. Our family has gone through such transitions in our faith and places of worship but I thank God my mom gave us our strong foundation in learning about God. She has been through so much and her strength amazes and inspires me to be a better woman. We definitely have our differences but I see a lot of my mom in me especially since I've become a wife and mother. Mom, thank you for being so selfless and loving us no matter what! We are blessed by you every day!
