Pumpkin Princess

On Tuesday Claire was having a rough morning so after I put Eden down for a nap, just the two of us went to the pumpkin patch. (Don't worry! My brother Billy was at the house with Miss Eden) We drive by the church down the road all the time and all year round she asks "When are the pumpkins coming?" We were so excited that they had finally arrived. Going to the pumpkin patch is one of our favorite if not our most favorite thing to do in the fall!! Claire and I had a good time listening to the songs and story time they had there and looking at how different all the pumpkins were.... short ones, tall ones, bumpy ones, white ones.... amazing how unique they all are! All four of us will get to the pumpkin patch together within the next week but it was so special for just the two of us to go. So....here is my pumpkin princess:

Zoo with the Zorn's

We got to visit the zoo with the Zorn's last Friday and we had a wonderful time! Claire and Leyna have such a fun time together. It's so fun to see them interact and see how similar they are. Lily Kate and Eden had fun too this being their first trips to the zoo! They are 3 months apart. (Eden went when she was 9 wks old but it didn't really count. She slept the whole time) Eden got a little fussy because of her teeth and I had a hard time getting a smile but she still did well until the last 30 minutes or so. Lezlee and I have become really close the past 2 years and it had been awhile since we had caught up so yes! Even the mommies had fun! The weather was beautiful and we look forward to going more to enjoy the fall, cooler days.

Gotta watch this 27 seconds of sweetness!! We were up in Austin this weekend to celebrate Mike's 40th bday so Eden got some quality time with her furry cousin, Maggie. Maggie's my most favorite dog in the world! She's such a gentle dog and we pretty much love her to pieces around here. Eden is really on the go and crawling much faster this past week. I'll post more party pics later. Enjoy!

10 months old

Wow - I'm SO behind!! I just got Eden's pics taken with Mr. Bear today after a super busy week and CRAZY weekend. I can't believe how happy she was this afternoon so I got some goodies. I was at work and hadn't seen her from 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. so I guess she was ready for me to love on her and make her smile. I'll add the 10 month things to remember sometime soon.... one thing to really remember about month 10 : She's all about pointing! It cracks me up - I've never seen a baby use her pointer finger so much =) She's also on the move and ready to go!

Rollo

How else did Eden celebrate turning 10 months old? Hanging out with her favorite feline - Rollo! Rollo is such a good sport and very forgiving with Eden. She's getting a little more gentle but now that Eden's getting more mobile, Rollo runs away from her a lot! I haven't been able to get pics of the two together but did this day. Look out Rollo!

It's swing time

How cute are these pics from the park the other week? Eden's first time in a bucket swing and she LOVED it! She was celebrating 10 months old with a neighborhood playgroup.

I spy something white and sharp

After much anticipation, whining, drool and gnawing, I saw Eden's first tooth shadow on Sunday afternoon! (almost 10 months old) It's her front bottom right. It finally broke through Tuesday which I thought would bring some relief but not so much. Poor thing is having a tough time but she'll make it through with some good ole Tylenol, Ora-gel, frozen teethers and these new teething tablets that are all natural that I found - she LOVES those! So my baby continues to grow up....
